Are You Ready to Take Action?

It is almost end of March and we are in the midst of festival season with bigger events coming up around the world like Coachella in California, AfrikaBurn in South Africa and Songkran in Thailand. How about one that celebrates the Earth?

Started in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour is now a global movement for the environment. On 30 March at 8.30pm, switch off your lights for an hour to #Connect2Earth.

Even better, get out of the house and head down to Marina Bay Sands. We will be there all of this weekend.

Here's some simple steps to be more eco-conscious :

1. Buy Less. Quality over quantity.

Would you prefer to have a product that has a longevity or one that you have to trash and replace all the time? Get to know what you really like instead of following fads. Buying a quality product may costs more but you actually end up saving money over time. Be mindful of your shopping choices and take care of your possessions.

2. Go for Eco Sustainable Products

Opt for green eco skincare/beauty/household products. Choose natural ingredients and avoid synthetic ones as much as you can. For clothing, skip the polyesters, nylon, acrylic, PVC and rayon.

3. Know How/Where Your Product Is Made

Mass manufacturing process usually equates to loads of waste and chemical pollution to the environment. Choose products that are made ethically and sustainably.

It's never too late to take action.
